TurnKey Sencha Live CD is an open source and freely distributed appliance based on the award winning Debian GNU/Linux operating system and built around the Sencha application, for deploying dedicated server machines.

Sencha is an open source and high-performance web-based framework for developing mobile web apps using the HTML5 markup language. It can be used to easily and quickly create amazing applications that work on a wide range of mobile platforms, including Android, iOS, iOS, BlackBerry, and Kindle Fire.

Key features of this TurnKey appliance include Sencha configurations installed by default in /var/www/senchasdk, Sencha SDK Tools, Sencha Touch, TurnKey Web Control panel, as well as compass for CSS SASS (Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets).

Additionally, it features out-of-the-box support for secure connections using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, a Postfix mail server for sending email messages to users, the phpMyAdmin software for administering the MySQL database server, as well as various Webmin modules for configuring Apache, Postfix, MySQL and PHP.

The default username for the Webmin, phpMyAdmin, SSH and MySQL components is root. During the first boot configuration process, users can set a password for the root (system administration) account, as well as for the MySQL 'root' account.

It can be downloaded from the dedicated section (see above) as Live CD ISO images, one for each of the supported hardware platforms (64-bit and 32-bit). In addition, users can grab ready-to-use virtual images in the Xen, OpenNode, OVF, OpenStack and OpenVZ formats from the project's website.

From the boot menu of the Live CDs, users can install the operating system on a local disk drive, as well as to just try the appliance without installing anything on their computers (demo mode). The text-mode installation process requires users to partition the disk drive and install the boot loader.

Rebooting and shutting down the appliance is possible from the TurnKey Linux Configuration Console, which will be presented to users at the end of the first boot setup process. Don't forget to write down the IP addresses and ports of the appliance's active services.

What is new in this release:
