As its name suggests, Bluewhite64 KDE3 Live DVD is yet another special edition of the Bluewhite64 Linux operating system, derived from the highly acclaimed Slackware Linux distribution and built around the old-school KDE3 graphical desktop environment.

Supports only 64-bit computers

Only 64-bit computers are supported by the Bluewhite64 Linux operating system and the KDE3 Live DVD edition makes no exception. It is distributed on Softoware as a Live DVD ISO image of approximately 2GB in size.

Uses Bluewhite64 in live mode

The aim of a Live Linux operating system is to allow the user to try the respective distribution of Linux without making any changes to his or her computer. From the Live DVD boot menu you will be able to start the live system with normal configuration, as well as to perform a system memory test.

KDE3 is for nostalgic users

Nostalgic Linux users who miss the simplicity and fastness of the KDE3 desktop environment, can try it right now with this Live Live distribution based on Slackware. KDE3 features a transparent taskbar comprised of a main menu applet, an application launcher, a task manager, a desktop switcher and a system tray area.

Unfortunately, the Bluewhite64 KDE3 Live DVD operating system is no longer under active development, which means that all the pre-installed packages are old and will no longer receive updates or patches. The project has been archived for historical references purposes only.
