AWS SDK for Node.js allows developers to build JavaScript applications that interact with Amazon Web Services tools and features in a standards-compliant, native, and non-destructive way.

The AWS SDK for Node.js is a collection of clients for various Amazon Web Services APIs, allowing developers to write their application's code using one single package instead of multiple libraries.

This also means all the code is maintained and managed by the AWS team, instead of a semi-professional developer that might go inactive at any point.

This SDK is also available to install via Node's package manager (npm) under the aws-sdk name.

The AWS SDK is also available for other languages and platforms as well:

PHP

Ruby

Java

.NET

iOS

Android
