BigBlueButton

BigBlueButton is a powerful Web conferincing system that provides real-time desktop sharing, presentational features, VoIP, webcam and chat rooms.

It also supports multiple user roles, ranging from regular viewer to moderator.

BigBlueButton is written using ActionScript, Java and MySQL.

• Improved audio using web real-time communication (WebRTC) support in FireFox and Chrome web browsers
• Instructors can now choose which segments of the session are recorded using the Start/Stop Record button
• Users now test their microphone before joining the audio bridge and have a new Listen Only mode
