ViewerJS

ViewerJS will permit developers to easily embed a file inside a Web page without having to offer it for download as in previous years.

This JavaScript library reads the file's source code, breaks down its content, and then reconstructs the original file piece by piece using HTML, JS, and CSS code.

The final result is embedded inside an iframe, with additional controls overlaid on top, controls for helping navigate or zoom in&out the file.

The library supports PDF files, and OpenOffice formats like ODF, ODS, and ODP.

Original images, fonts, and text formatting is preserved, so the embedded document looks exactly like the original file.

ViewerJS practically merges the work put into the PDF.js and WebODF projects.
