Pisi Linux LXDE is an open source and completely free operating system, a special edition of the Pardus-based Pisi Linux distribution built around LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment). It features the PiSi package management system and several lightweight applications.
It’s distributed only for 64-bit computers, as an installable-only ISO image
The LXDE edition of Pisi Linux is distributed as an installable-only ISO image of approximately 1GB in size, designed to work only on computers supporting the 64-bit (x86_64) instruction set architecture. The ISO image must be written on a DVD disc or a USB flash drive of 2GB or higher capacity in order to boot it from the BIOS of a PC.
It is a multilingual operating system
This special Pisi Linux edition supports multiple languages, including English US, Polish, German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Croatian, Hungarian, Italian, Swedish, Dutch, Spanish, Russian, Turkish and Catalan. They’re all selectable from the bootloader.
Default boot options
Default boot options include the ability to start the installation, boot from the local drive, perform a memory test, rescue a broken operating system, as well as to view detailed information about your computer’s hardware components.
Anyone can install the Pisi Linux OS
