Apache Commons Jelly works by parsing a XML file and converting the content into a script.
This script can produce various results, from other XML code, to HTML, JavaScript, or any other formats you want it to output.
By doing so, developers have a much finer control over their content, both going in and out of an application.
Apache Commons Jelly is compatible with other Apache projects like Ant, Maven, Cocoon, and Velocity, and supports both the JEXL and XPath expression languages.
Since the concept behind the Commons Jelly project can be quite complex, we recommend diving into the documentation as soon as you download the files.
