Situs

Situs works from the Node.js CLI and requires a series of steps and resources to be in place.

Situs reads a configuration file first, parses a series of templates, reads the content, inserts the content inside the templates, and then saves everything as an easy to access HTML file(s).

These files can be hosted online on any type of server and provide a much faster website than when using a complex CMS platform.

Handlebars is used as Situs' template engine, a well-known page templating solution, also used with Ghost.

Because of this, you'll have no problem in creating the Handlebars template you need, a lot of documentation being available online on how to do so.
