The Yahoo! User Interface Library (or just YUI) centers around building interactive web applications using techniques such as DOM scripting, the MVC paradigm, DHTML, and AJAX.
YUI includes several core CSS resources for easy deployment of the pre-built widgets, more than 300 examples, an extensible API, and lots of documentation.
There are also two build-time tools: YUI Compressor (minification) and YUI Doc (documentation engine for JavaScript code).
These can help programmers easily assemble and deploy Web services, focusing on the content, instead of the UX or the UI.
