jquery-autosave

The jquery-autosave works by watching for change events in the content of a page section and automatically backing up the most recent version of the data to a specific URL.

Data can be sent to a backend or database, allowing developers to have a backup system in place for any sensitive or important data the user might be entering.

Data is saved via AJAX calls and the plugin can be used with any type of events.

This includes changes to a form field's content, button clicks, new selections in a dropdown, and so on.

A demo is included with the download package.
