Relaxo

Apache CouchDB is a document-oriented database developed at the Apache Software Foundation, written in Erlang, implementing NoSQL principles.

Relaxo facilitates using Apache CouchDB with Ruby-based applications, allowing the developer to write as less CouchDB-specific syntax as possible, while still querying and interfacing with the database using regular Ruby code.

The library is very well put together and a great tool for CouchDB development, supporting all basic database operations.

This includes support for single or batch transactions, working with multiple databases, easy connections, and many other more.
