Bitnami Pimcore Module is a free and cross-platform graphical software, a native installer for GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems that allows you to install the Pimcore application on top of existing Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP), MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL and PHP) or WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stacks.

What is Pimcore?

Pimcore is a web-based, platform-independent, freely distributed and open source application that has been designed from the offset to act as a powerful and full-featured Customer Experience Management (CXM) and Customer Engagement Management (CEM) platform for small and medium-sized businesses.

Installing Bitnami Pimcore Module

To install the Pimcore application on top of your existing Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) Stack product, you will have to first download the executable file that corresponds to your computer’s hardware architecture (32-bit or 64-bit), save it locally, make it executable, double-click it and follow the instruction displayed on the screen.

Run Pimcore in the cloud or virtualize it

Thanks to Bitnami, users will also be able to run the Pimcore application in the cloud, as pre-built cloud images for the Amazon EC2 and Windows Azure cloud hosting platforms are available for download on the project’s website. In addition, an Ubuntu-based virtual appliance will allow you to virtualize Pimcore on the Oracle VirtualBox and VMware ESX/ESXi virtualization software.

Pimcore Docker container and Stack

It is also possible to run the Pimcore application on Bitnami’s own cloud hosting platform. A Pimcore Docker container will also be available for download on the project’s homepage (see link below for details).

The Bitnami Pimcore Stack product is available for download on the Softoware for free, allowing the user to easily and quickly install the Pimcore application, including its runtime dependencies, on personal computers or portable devices (laptops).
