useful.positions.js is a group of small JavaScript functions that can help developers with positioning elements on the page and even when debugging buggy layouts.
The library is easy to use, and all it requires from developers is five minutes the take a look over the README file.
What useful.positions.js can do:
- find the dimensions of the browser window
- find the scroll position of an element
- find the position of an element, relative to the document
- find the position of the mouse cursor relative to an element
As you can see, all simple functions, but very useful when needing some more details about where things are actually showing up, compared to where you want them to be.
A demo for some of the useful.positions.js functions is included with the download package.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
