TurnKey ProcessMaker Live CD is an open source project that provides users with a Debian-based appliance for deploying dedicated servers with the ProcessMaker software, which helps business analysts to improve workflow performance by analyzing and discovering process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Key features include all of the upstream ProcessMaker configurations installed by default in /var/www/processmaker, a Postfix mail transfer agent for sending email messages to users, as well as support for secure connection using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) specification.
In addition, it comes with the phpMyAdmin software for easy administration of MySQL databases, which uses SSL and listens on port 12322, and several Webmin modules for configuring the MySQL, PHP, Postfix and Apache components.
While the default username for MySQL, Postfix, SSH and Webmin is root, the default ProcessMaker username is admin. During the first boot configuration process, users will be able to add a password for the root (system administrator) account, set a new password for the MySQL 'root' account, as well as to set up a new password and add a valid email address for the ProcessMaker 'admin' account.
Optionally, it is possible to enable various TurnKey Hub services, such as Domain Management, Backup, Dynamic DNS and Migration, which will allow users to securely backup their files, package management and databases.
At the end of the installation process, users will be able to access the TurnKey Linux Configuration Console that enables them to configure the network interfaces, as well as to reboot or shutdown the server. Also, don't forget to write down the IP addresses and ports of the active services!
The project is distributed as Live CD ISO images, one for each of the supported hardware platforms (32-bit and 64-bit), which can be burned to CD discs or written to USB flash drives. In addition, various ready-to-use virtual images are provided on the project's homepage for OpenVZ, OpenStack, OVF, Xen and OpenNode virtualization technologies.
