Trisquel GNU/Linux FSF (Free Software Foundation) is an open source and freely distributed operating system derived from the world’s most popular distribution of Linux, Ubuntu, and featuring only free (libre) software packages.

Distributed as a 32-bit Live DVD

The FSF edition of Trisquel GNU/Linux is distributed as a Live DVD ISO image of approximately 2 GB in size, which contains only software packages optimized for computers supporting the 32-bit (i686) instruction set architecture. The ISO image can be deployed to either a DVD disc or a USB thumb drive of 2GB or higher capacity.

Offers standard boot options and multilanguage support

This special Trisquel GNU/Linux flavor comes with support for numerous languages and a standard Live DVD boot menu that allow you to try the operating system without installing it, start the graphical or text-mode installer directly, check the bootable medium for defects (only if booting from a DVD media), run a memory diagnostic test, as well as to boot from the local disk drive.

Offers a beautiful, GNOME-based desktop environment
