LinuxBBQ Threesum is an open source distribution of Linux, a special edition of the LinuxBBQ operating system that features three of the best window managers available on the Debian GNU/Linux repos, including Spectrwm, i3 and awesome.
Available for download as 64-bit/32-bit Live CDs
This special LinuxBBQ edition is available for download as Live CD ISO images of approximately 300MB in size, designed to support both 64-bit (x86_64) and 32-bit (i386) instruction set architectures. The user must write these ISO image to CD discs or USB thumb drives in order to boot them from the BIOS of a PC.
Boot options
From the boot prompt of the Live CDs, the user can start the live environment with default boot options, with support for Intel video cards, in failsafe mode, by copying the contents of the ISO images to RAM, or with the VGA and nomode options. In addition, the user can start the memory test or boot from the first disk.
Includes three awesome window managers
As mentioned, the distribution includes three awesome window managers, including awesome, i3 and Spectrwm, which is also the default one. The user can select its favorite window manager directly from the login screen, where he or she must log in using the bbq/bbq username and password combination.
Default applications
The included applications are available across all three window managers. Among some of them, we can mention the Leafpad text editor, DeaDBeeF audio player, Synaptic Package Manager, GParted partition editor, and Midnigh Commander twin-panel file manager.
