jQuery SumoSelect lets developers overwrite how browsers render default dropdown select lists.
This small plugin will add new interaction features to this UI form component, allowing developers to use prettier skins, support multi-select features, show placeholder text, start with pre-selected items, and even disable options from the list on a per-page basis.
Multiple SumoSelect lists can be shown on the same page without conflicting with each other, and support for responsive layouts and mobile devices is also included.
The plugin is not a ground-breaking tool since there are plenty of other similar tools, but jQuery SumoSelect distinguishes itself thanks to a its light codebase and modern feature set.
Demos are included with the download package.
