The filtering action is powered by CSS 3 transition animations.
Semantically, the filters are just radio buttons.
Selecting or deselecting one radio button simply toggles the visibility of filterable elements that share the same class as the radio button.
For this basic action no JavaScript is needed, so this means the filtering widget can work with JS turned off, or on mobile devices where JS support is problematic.
Since turning on or off the visibility of an HTML element can be altered by CSS 3 transformations and transitions, with a little imagination, the actual filtering action can be enhanced a lot.
Three demos are included with the download package.
Requirements:
- CSS 3 enabled browser
