Gridify Select adds support for table-like layouts inside a dropdown select list.
While this sounds really hard to implement, mainly because dropdown selects rely on basic list-like items, this plugin allows developers to pass TAB-separated content inside a select list's item.
Each option will become a row in the table layout, with each TAB-separated value becoming data inside of the table's rows.
You can pass an unlimited amount of table rows to the plugin, and pretty complex table grids can be built, with support for both small and large number of columns.
If JavaScript is turned off, the grid selector degrades gracefully to a normal select list.
A demo is included with the download package.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery 1.8 or higher
- Bootstrap 2 or higher
