Ikki Boot is an open source software project that gathers together some of the most popular utilities and distributions of Linux for system administration tasks. Be aware that this is not a Linux operating system, it is simply a container of several system administration oriented tools.
Distributed as a Live CD ISO image that supports the mainstream architectures
The project is distributed as a Live CD ISO image that has been designed from the ground up to be used on both 32-bit (i386) and 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platforms. To use it, you must write the ISO image to a blank CD disc or a USB flash drive of 512MB or higher capacity. Then, you can boot it from the BIOS of a PC.
Includes top-notch system administration tools
As mentioned, Ikki Boot is a container of several system administration oriented tools, such as Parted Magic, SliTaz RIP (Recovery Is Possible) Linux, Super Grub Disk, Offline NT password, Balder (FreeDOS rescue floppy), Memtest86+, HDT (Hardware Detection Tool), DBAN (Darik’s Boot and Nuke), Clonezilla and GAG graphical boot manager.
All these are selectable from the boot menu of the distribution, along with the ability to boot an existing operating system that is installed on the first disk drive, check the integrity of the bootable medium (only if using a CD media), a well as to reboot the machine.
