Gajj Linux is an open source distribution of Linux that provides users with a modern and beautiful operating system, based on the world's most popular free OS, Ubuntu. It is distributed into multiple editions, with the Xfce, KDE, Cinnamon, and Unity desktop environments.
Availability, boot options, supported platforms
This is the Unity edition of Gajj Linux, and it's distributed as Live DVD ISO images that can be deployed to USB flash drives or burned onto blank or RW DVD discs. There are two ISO images, one for the 32-bit architecture, and another one for the 64-bit hardware platform.It provides users with the same boot menu that can be found on other Gajj Linux editions, from where they can try the operating system without installing anything on their computers, test the system memory (RAM), or boot an existing operating system that is installed on the first disk drive.

As mentioned, this Gajj edition features the Unity desktop environment, which is comprised of a Mac OS X like top panel for interacting with running programs or accessing various functions that are implemented in the system tray area, as well as an app launcher located on the left side of the screen.It uses a custom icon theme, as well as a desktop theme that try to imitate the Mac OS X Lion theme.
