Debian Xbluebuntu is an open source distribution of Linux that uses the Debian Testing (Jessie) operating system as a base and features a desktop theme inspired by the Xubuntu 14.04 (Trusty Tahr) distro. It aims to deliver a modern computer operating system for i686 PAE machines with at least 512MB or RAM.
Distributed as a 32-bit Live CD
The Debian Xbluebuntu distribution can be downloaded from Softoware free of charge, as a Live CD ISO image that fits perfectly on a CD disc and includes software packages optimized for the 32-bit (i686) instruction set architecture. The ISO image can also be used on 64-bit machine, but you will only be able to install 32-bit applications.Live CD boot options
The Live CD contains various boot options that will help uses to start the live system with default settings, in text-mode only, with the “no modeset” option, with the “no probe” option, or by loading the contents of the ISO image to RAM. Advanced boot options include the ability to perform a system memory diagnostic check, boot an existing OS from the local drive, as well as to access a help screen that displays a list of available boot options.Uses the Xfce environment of Xubuntu
As mentioned, the distribution is heavily inspired by the Xubuntu 14.04 Linux operating system, which means that it uses its Greybird GTK theme and Elementary Xfce icon set.
