Morrigan is a tool that simplifies the process of entering large blocks of text inside a Web page.
It works by taking a textarea and appending various text formatting controls to it using a toolbar-like format.
These text editing controls can be used to automatically format the text using HTML tags and make it look just like you want it to look without having to learn HTML coding to do so.
Morrigan supports all basic text styling controls like text alignment, text formatting, lists, and links, along with YouTube and image embedding.
If you'd like a slimmer or larger toolbar, controls can easily be turned on or off via the plugin's parameters.
Besides the jQuery version, Morrigan is also available as a Ruby on Rails module.
The editor can be deployed as a standalone jQuery plugin and used on any static page you want, inside RoR projects, or used as a tool in coding modules and add-ons for other platforms like content management systems, forums, blogs, CRMs, ERPs, and so on.
