bootstrap3-wysihtml5 is forked from a similar project, bootstrap-wysihtml5, and upgraded to work with the latest versions of the Bootstrap framework.
The component provides a WYSIWYG module for the framework's default UI package, allowing developers to add rich text editing features to their applications and textareas.
The package works just like any other WYSIWYG editor out there, providing various text formatting controls in the form of buttons, neatly arranged on a horizontal toolbar.
The toolbar is attached to any designated textarea and will allow the user to select text and apply the desired formatting operation to it, previewing it in real-time as well.
When the data is submitted, it is submitted as already formatted text, using HTML for the formatting.
bootstrap3-wysihtml5 works with Bootstrap 3.x only. For Bootstrap 2.x projects, you can opt to use bootstrap-wysihtml5 instead.
