Font Awesome is a dingbats (iconographic) font family recently included with Twitter's Bootstrap front-end framework.
It allows embedding icons which are actually perceived as normal letters/characters by the Web page.
Font Awesome is currently the most used iconographic font and has grown to hold over 220 characters.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
