ProgressJs can build progress indicators in various forms (lines, bars, panels, overlays, etc.), the limit being in the developer's imagination.
These progress indicators can be used to mask the loading of an object, signaling his loading status and when he's ready to be interacted with.
As mentioned above, ProgressJs can be applied to an entire page, showing a progress indicator in synchronization with the loading operation of various page assets, or it can be applied to just one element on the page, like an image per example.
There are also various other ways to use ProgressJs, like showing the fill percentage of text inside an input field or textarea with a limit set on it. As you can see, there's nothing to load here, but ProgressJs works by telling the user his "progress" in filling in the form.
Examples for all these cases are included with the ProgressJs download package.
