jQuery Cookiebar Plugin

The jQuery Cookiebar Plugin will help webmasters follow EU's Cookie Directive and warning users if their site's use cookies to store various user-related settings.

The plugin allows users to show a message at the top of the window with their own warning text.

A default text is included, but the developer can customize it to whatever he wants.

A "dismiss/continue" button is included, which when pressed will close the notification bar.

Using the jQuery Cookie Plugin, jQuery Cookiebar will remember the user's choice and never show the notification bar when re-accessing the site.

A demo is included with the download package.
