The jNotify jQuery Plug-in was created as an alternative to the annoying (pure) JavaScript alert() functions block the users from accessing the page when triggered.
While they are great for warnings and alerts since they prevent the user from taking a damaging action, they are horrible when used as a way to show user feedback.
For these situations jNotify can be used, showing a small bar at the top of the page with a text message inside it.
When one of these notifications is shown on the page the user can read it and go on interacting with the rest of the interface without being restricted in any way.
jNotify supports three message types by default: notification, error and warning.
The plugin also supports showing the messages for a custom time interval, or it can show them using a sticky mode which requires the user to click a close button to make them disappear.
jNotify also hives developers the ability to use custom styles with their notifications, stack them on top of each other, and even customize their position on the page.

What is new in this release:
- Added clickToDismiss option for clicking a message to quickly dismiss the message.
- Fixed issue where messages would sometimes fadeout incorrect due to issue with items not removed from queue correctly.
