Intence tears down scrollbars and uses shadows and other highlights to show the user's position on a scrollable container.
Using a dynamic animation, Intence replaces scrollbars with highlights next to the container's margins.
If an element is scrollable on a vertical direction, highlights will be shown on the top and bottom of the container's margins. If its scrollable horizontally, these highlights will appear on the left and right side instead.
These highlights are used to show how much the user has scrolled, using an inverted display system. This means that if there's a lot of highlight/shadow at the bottom of the container, there's lots of content there that can be scrolled through.
This might get some time to get used to, but on mobile devices Intence will feel right at home.
