Since grid-based designs are becoming the standard way of presenting content on the Web, page editing tools need to evolve as well.
jQuery GridManager was specifically built for these situations, consisting of a set of controls that make editing grid-column-row page layouts a child's play.
The user can add rows, add columns inside them, move the columns and rows around, delete them when they don't need them anymore, insert content inside a layout cell, preview and then save the entire template.
GridManager allows developers to built any type of custom layout, but it also provides them with some preset layouts to choose from also.
The content added inside it can be added using textareas, or via WYSIWYG editors like CKEditor or TinyMCE.
Numerous examples are included with the standard jQuery GridManager package.
