textAssist

textAssist can be used on pages with lots of text, especially if the text contains lots of technical terms, addresses, quotes, or words/phrases in other languages.

The plugin works by automatically showing a popup menu when the user makes a text selection.

This menu can be used as a Web assistant, aiding the user in carrying out simple tasks.

These can be basic copy-cut events, or more complex interactions like taking the selected text and searching it on Google, Google Maps, Google Translate, or other Web services.

Some basic functions are included with the textAssist demo included in the default download package, but developers can add their own as well.
