While Bootstrap is a beautiful and very useful tool, the framework has reached the un-official title of the "most used UI framework" on the Internet. And because many of the times it's been implemented it has been done with its default skin, most developers, designers, and even clients have grown to hate and avoid it at all costs.
Plusstrap provides the same Bootstrap core, but with a slew of modifications that change its look, providing an usable alternative to the default theme.
All the original Bootstrap 2.x components are supported, from the grid system to the scroll-spy plugin, and up to the navbar widget.
Using the framework follows the general Bootstrap guidelines, and any Bootstrap project can easily be switched to Plusstrap and vice versa.
