Just like HTML5 Boilerplate, Bootstrap, Vanilla5, and other similar tools, Sassaparilla is a simple starter kit on which developers can begin the development of Web-based projects.
It's not a fully-blown boilerplate or theme, but a collection of default styling rules, and guidelines on which designers can start to add the project's content.
These can easily be modified, and also have the advantage of being well-tested against most modern Web browsers.
Sassaparilla will cover the UI, while at first developers can concentrate on the application's functionality. Later on, if they still have time, they can tweak the default Sassaparilla user interface as they see fit.
Usage instructions are included with the package's README.
Requirements:
- SASS / SCSS
- Compass
