Web Components is a new standard recently released by the World Wide Web Consortium regarding recommended practices in building custom HTML elements.
X-Tag is a community-developed library that wraps this new standard in a simple API, allowing developers to create their very own reusable components and control them via JavaScript.
Bricks merges these two tools together and provides developers with a small list of UI widgets built on X-Tag that can easily be added to any Web UI and work properly on a wide variety of browsers.
Brick is also mobile friendly and also uses minimal markup, so your application won't get clogged by endless lines of code managing just one single widget.
Included components:
Appbar
Calendar
Deck
Flipbox
Layout
Slider
Tabbar
Toggle
What is new in this release:
- Removed grunt build-dev task.
- Added --dev option to all grunt tasks that build sections of Brick [site, demos, downloadpage, homepage, build]. This allows Brick to be built from ./dev-repos/ instead of ./bower_components/.
- Removed overflow:hidden from x-card to ease UI construction.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
