Kickoff

Kickoff fits right in with today's trend of using UI frameworks for developing your websites.

Kickoff was written to cut down development time, by providing lots of helpers and mixins for building basic page layouts and page components.

The framework allows developers to assemble websites and their interfaces using pre-built code, putting together only the features you need for your project.

Written in SCSS, you can compile Kickoff to CSS whenever you want and use it without having a Ruby-dependency in your project.

Lots of example components and documentation is included with the framework, along with its own styleguide to smoothly transition designers into Kickoff's own coding and visual identity.

What is new in this release:

• The styleguide has had a massive improvement & the start page has been removed. The styleguide has been moved to .styleguide/index.html
• Running npm run kickoff now installs all package dependencies, including Grunt if you don't have it, and is a great way to start a Kickoff project
• Removed 404
• Removed ./js/helpers.js as redundant. Have provided some info if you need those files again.
• Added HTML Validation check to the checks performed when running grunt checks task.
• Completely restructured the static files directories.

• As node-sass has been updated to v2, we can now use grunt-sass with Kickoff. It is faster and removes the dependency on Ruby from Kickoff.
