jQuery TextFX is a pretty customizable solution for animating text.
It lets programmers decide what text to animate and even apply different animation routines to different text blocks.
They can opt to customize the delay between each text character, the overall animation time, the text animation effect, and the direction in which is applied.
jQuery TextFX comes with support for text rotation, fading, scaling, and sliding it in from a side.
Examples for each are included with the TextFX package.
