It is available for download as a single Live DVD ISO-hybrid image, which means that users can burn it to a blank DVD disc, or write it to a USB flash drive. Supported hardware platforms include both 32-bit and 64-bit).The boot menu of the Live DVD provides users with various ways to run the live environment, including text mode, without modeset, copy to RAM, without probe, or with default settings. In addition, it allows you to boot an existing OS, a Linux distribution with UnionFS, or run a memory diagnostic test.

At the login prompt, use the makulu username with the makulu password to log into the live session, which is powered by the lightweight MATE desktop environment, a clone of GNOME 2.
