FlameSky OS (previously known as Cubicle OS Netbook) is a free and open source distribution of Linux, a special edition of the FlameSky OS Linux distro designed to be installed or used as-is on a netbook computer. It is derived from the widely used openSUSE Linux operating system and built around the modern GNOME desktop environment.
Available for downloaded as a 32-bit Live CD
This special FlameSky OS edition is available for download as a single Live CD ISO image that has been tagged for 32-bit (i686) hardware platforms, but will also support 64-bit processors. Please note that you must burn the ISO image to a USB flash drive of 1GB or higher capacity in order to boot it from the BIOS of the netbook.
Boot options
The boot prompt is standard for an openSUSE-based OS, allowing the user to start the live environment with default boot options or in safe graphics mode, boot an existing operating system from the first disk, as well as to run a system memory (RAM) diagnostic test, add extra kernel parameters, change the default language or the video mode.
