eXPress-linux LXDE is a freely distributed and open source distribution of Linux derived from the world’s most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux, and built around the fast and lightweight LXDE graphical desktop environment. It’s designed for Italian-speaking users.
It’s available for download as a dual-arch Live CD
The LXDE edition of eXPress-linux is available for download via Softoware or directly from the project’s official website (see link above) as a dual-arch Live CD ISO image.Currently, the Live CD contains packages optimized for both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86_64) instruction set architectures, and fits perfectly on a CD disc or a USB thumb drive of 1GB or higher capacity.
Features four different live modes
When booting the operating system from the BIOS of a computer, the user will encounter a boot menu that allows him or her to run the live system with normal settings, in safe graphics mode, in text only mode or in debug mode.In addition, it is possible to perform a system memory diagnostic test, boot an existing OS that is currently installed on the first disk drive detected by the BIOS, as well as to start the graphical installer directly and perform a fresh install.
