useful.slideshow.js is a JavaScript library for building image sliders, but using CSS3 for the image transition effects.
The library works without a bulky JavaScript framework but uses jQuery and jQuery UI in older IE versions, as a fallback for the lack of CSS3 support.
useful.slideshow.js is quite easy to setup and also comes with lots of customizable parameters which allow developers to fine-tune the image slideshow's behavior.
The slider includes support for next/previous arrows, a dotted pagination system, thumbnail sliders, simple slide transitions, an image caption section, mobile support, and customizable slideshow dimensions.
It also lets developers tweak the time an image remains visible on screen, the time it takes to animate a new image in, if to pause on hover, and some basic settings for the slideshow's UI.
Two examples are included with the download package. One shows an image slider with a dotted pagination, one with a thumbnail slider.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- CSS 3 enabled browser
