miSlider is a new implementation of the famous carousel & image slideshow component, coded to work as a jQuery plugin.
The miSlider carousel is quite easy to setup, takes up very little space, and also works with mobile and responsive projects.
The component takes a list of slides which can be both images and HTML-formatted content, and then rotates them on a horizontal axis, showing them one by one or multiple items at a time.
Developers can control the speed of the transition effects, the dimensions of the slider and its items, and the presence of a navigation system, which can be classic left/right arrows or a dotted pagination toolbar.
Other customizable features include the first slide to show on page load, the number of visible slides, scaling factor between the center slide and the rest of the slides, and if to use a looped motion when reaching one of the carousel's ends.
miSlider comes with a basic demo to show developers how it can be embedded in their own projects, and should be pretty easy to include with other platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc. as a custom slider add-on.
