extprot

extprot lets developers define a way to serialize and send data between different mediums.

It is a lesser-used binary serialization protocol, compact, efficient and very extensible, similar to Google's Protocol Buffers and Apache Thrift.

extprot comes with support for a powerful type system, self-delimiting and self-describing data.

Messages sent with extprot are simple key-value pairs that can be serialized and later unserialized, sent in a compact, language and medium-neutral binary format.
