Apache Ivy is a tool targeting developers for managing, recording, tracking, resolving and reporting on a project's active dependencies.

Ivy improves the Ant build system by providing an automated way of resolving dependencies, the order in which they need to be loaded, from where they need to be downloaded and at what point in the build process to load them.
