The Google Fonts For WordPress plugin uses fonts from the Google Web Fonts service.
It allows admins to search and select desired fonts, adding them to WordPress' built-in WYSIWYG editor.
Google Fonts For WordPress creates a special font family and font size selector and adds it to the visual editor, which article editors can use to style their news stories, blog entries or the site pages.
The plugin also utilizes a statistics page in the backend, where for every font in the collection Google Fonts For WordPress shows the number of times it has been used.
Additionally it also allows editors to easily select another font and automatically replace one font with the another.
This functionality is great when changing site themes or updating site-wide typography rules.
