Disable WordPress Core Updates works with no extra configuration needed.
As stated above. Just install and activate.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
To disable other of the WordPress update types, or just all updates, the plugin's author offers this feature through other similar plugins:
