RWDPerf works from the Node.js CLI and can be used to test the performance of a RWD (Responsive Web Design) website before launching it into production.
This tool works by simulating a browser environment at given parameters, loading the website and then recording various details about this process.
RWDPerf will track page requests, find unused or hidden content and calculate the entire page's weight.
This information can then be used by the developer to optimize the page's rendering on the tested devices and make sure resources aren't squandered around and bandwidth used uselessly for resources that don't get displayed in the first place.
It may be a little hard to get started with RWDPerf, so make sure to read the installation instructions provided with the package's README file.
