Screamix is an Ubuntu-based distribution designed for network and applications security, and penetration testing tasks. It starts like a Live CD and then you can install it on your PC/laptop (the installer software is the same as the one from Ubuntu... nothing has been changed on that).
A note for the "exp" directory ( filesystem structure ) that contains some usefull penetration testing software.
Include all the ExploitTree CVS ( 10-2007 ) into the /exp/codes and my personal refactoring of onesixtyone (onesisxtyone is a snmp scan software ... I've added some little functionality and a CUI interface).
There's a compiled version of METASPLOIT FRAMEWORK 3.0 too. You can start the metaspoit console with " msfconsole " at the prompt.
