Regular Swift Linux is a simple, free and resource-friendly operating system derived from the GNOME flavor of the Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE) distribution. It features the user-friendly IceWM window manager and a great collection of lightweight applications.

When booting the Swift Linux Live CD from the BIOS of a computer, using either a CD disc or a USB thumb drive, users will encounter a boot prompt with a message that notifies them about the state of the boot process, which will happen in exactly 10 seconds.If you want to access advanced boot options, you can press any key on your keyboard during the 10-second timeout. From the boot menu you can start the live environment in compatibility mode, in case you have an unsupported graphics card, perform a system memory diagnostic test or boot an existing OS from the first disk detected by the BIOS.
