MySQL Native Connector extension has now been compiled for Mac OSX and Linux 32bit from the Master Source Tree. Due to recent changes in the LibreOffice source code, the extension now only appears to work with 3.5 versions of LibreOffice.

It can be added in the usual way to your list of extensions via the Extension Manager user interface.

Developer comments

Please note that the connectors made available here no longer appear to install or work with 3.3.x or 3.4.x versions of LibreOffice. Since support for 3.3.x versions of LibreOffice will soon reach end of life status, I will not be compiling connector extensions for those 3.3.x versions. If I get time, I might compile the connector for Linux and Mac for the 3.4.x line.
