When you open a text file with Calc by choosing the File type Text CSV (*. Csv, *. Txt), a screen asks you to specify the characteristics of the file (separator, data type of each column, masked or not .. .).
Import csv extension will allow you to memorize this first step, and give it a name. and then to open your files directly in Calc, selecting from a list , the name that you have set.
First time
1- Open a text file by selecting "Text CSV (*. Csv, *. Txt)" as file type.
2- Adjust the import settings and valid.
3- Without going any further, open textOOo (Tools Menu / Add-ons / txtOoo)
4- TxtOoo automatically displays the current filter values.
5- Enter the name you want associated with that file type and click "Save"
The next times
Don't open your file directly.
1- Open TxtOOo, select from the list the name given in the previous step.
2- Click "Open" and select the file to open in calc.
